Burger Buns


  • 1 (.25 ounce) package instant yeast
  • cup warm water
  • 3 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Sesame

How It’s Made:

In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and add some flour ,oil and sugar; let stand for 5 minutes. Add the egg, salt and enough flour and knead until smooth and elastic about 5-8 

minutes to form a soft dough.let it rise in a bowl.Turn onto a floured surface; knead again. Divide into 8 pieces; shape each into a ball. Place 3 in. apart on greased baking sheets.Cover and let rise until double in size. Preheat oven at 375° .To add a golden shine, whisk one egg yolk with 2-3 teaspoons milk, then brush buns before baking.These are ultra customizable,if you like to add sesame or poppy seeds. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool.
