Indian Gujiya


  • Clarified butter 1 kg
  • Sugar 1 kg
  • All purpose flour ½ kg
  • Baking soda ½ tsp
  • Yogurt 1 tsp
  • Milk 250 gm
  • Cardamom seeds 5 – 6
  • Pistachio as required
  • Almond as required

How It’s Made:

Take a bowl add all purpose flour , butter, water, baking soda and yogurt
and knead well than make balls.
roll it and these balls fill with solid milk and fold it.
Heat butter in a skillet.
Then fry in clarified butter.
For Syrup:
Combine sugar and water in a skillet and prepare sugar syrup.
Then dip fried gujiya in sugar syrup.
Take out in dish and garnish with almond and pistachio.
